Dennis

Dennis and his wife, Joann, were new patients of Dr. Gibney.

They were looking for a dentist and numerous friends suggested Dr. Gibney's office.

Dennis chose "24 Hour Teeth" over dentures.

Why 24 Hour Teeth instead of dentures?

Day One

Dennis and his wife arrived early on Day One to begin his dental implant surgery.

Dr. Gibney placed 7 dental implants in the bottom.

For the top arch, Dr. Gibney used a pre-made surgical guide to drill the holes for the dental implant posts.

The surgical guide helps ensure the dental implant placement is exact as possible.

Video of Dr. Gibney drilling implant posts on the lower arch.

After the upper holes are drilled, Dr. Gibney drills the dental implants directly into the gums. This means no false "pink" in the patient's smile.

Dennis had a total of 15 dental implants surgically placed -

8 on top and 7 on bottom.

The surgery lasted for 1 hour and 13 minutes.

Dennis is sent home to rest and will return in the afternoon to have his temporary lower arch cemented in.

While Dennis is recovering, Dr. Gibney reviews Dennis' post surgery CAT scans. These show the implant placement.

Before Dennis went home, Dr. Gibney took impressions of the dental implants with posts on them.

The models are scanned and sent to the dental mill.  The mill reads the scans to create the temporary teeth.

Dr. Gibney removes the puck from the mill and uses a drill to separate the bottom temporary.

After polishing and staining the temporary teeth, they're ready for the patient.

Dr. Gibney explains the model to mill process in the video below.

Dennis returns in the afternoon to have his lower temporary teeth cemented in.

It takes less than an hour to deliver the lower teeth.

Day Two

Dennis returns in the morning of Day Two.

Over night, the dental mill was working to create his upper temporary teeth.

Dennis' upper temporary teeth are cemented in by Dr. Gibney and our 24 Hours are up!

He is handed a mirror and shown the final result of his 24 Hour Teeth case.

Dennis' smile changed drastically within 24 hours.
